With a background in Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, I am often asked about how I got into coaching. Prior to starting my company, I held key leadership positions in Fortune 500 companies. Having experienced firsthand the challenges leaders face, I recognized how important leadership is in creating employee engagement and the ultimate success of an organization.
Seeing the opportunity to make a difference, I took the leap and launched my coaching and consulting firm to work with Leaders who strive for excellence and are committed to making a difference with the people that they employ.
I have had the great privilege of working with executives, entrepreneurs, and other professionals to help them achieve professional and personal goals they once thought were not possible. My clients say that my ability to create clarity combined with my unique blend of business experience invaluable.
It’s with my client’s goals in mind that I challenge underlying beliefs and values to create openings for change. This new awareness and understanding has a profound impact which forms the foundation for their continued growth.
I’m a firm believer in the importance of being clear on my principles and values. My actions are consistently guided by my values:
· Quality in everything we do
· Place our client’s needs first
· To amaze our clients
· Commitment to continuous improvement
One of the most rewarding experiences was as an adjunct instructor for MBA students at Florida Atlantic University taking the Global Leadership Assessment Development course. My students shared that the course was life changing.
My own academic accomplishments include an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, B.A in Economics from Brandeis University.
I am dedicated to the missions of the organizations I serve and work to empower others in my business and through my volunteer initiatives. As a Board member of Women Executive Leadership, I work with other dynamic executives to increase diversity in the Boardrooms of Public Companies. As a Rotarian, I roll-up my sleeves and make a difference in so many ways, including with our veterans, youth, homeless people, and many other local and global initiatives.
Shari truly has a passion for mentoring and coaching, which is quite evident in her work and presentation delivery. Most recently, Shari presented to a group of CEO’s from my Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program Alumni group on the topic of “Transformational Leadership and Engagement” which really provided great insight on how our leadership and communication style influences our people and the culture at our companies.
Great insight was provided on empowerment and accountability of the leader and eye-opening topics to help demonstrate how to identify needed change, creating a strategy to guide change through value, inspiration and empowerment, and finally implementing and executing change.
Shari’s style of presenting is really engaging with the audience, which allowed for sharing, peer mentoring and advisory among the group. I appreciated exploring the idea of MisFit to RightFit, as we explored how job performance and behavioral fit are equally important as we strive to manage a leaner structure. I highly recommend Shari to be your next mentor or business coach and exploring her tools on how to survey employees before hiring for greater performance.
